Today’s piece is very simple. I was listening to the amazing Chet Baker sing ‘My Funny Valentine’ as I finished throwing this little black stoneware clay bowl (it’s my normal sort of black clay, and frankly a bit gritty for throwing thanks to the fine grog – my poor hands!). I gave it a couple of little pinches and ‘Voilà!’ I have a small black heart bowl. I have no idea how I’m going to trim the bottom, though.
